No legs eleven or indeed Elvis!

They do say (whoever they are) that by trying something new it keeps the old grey matter working, well I can honestly say my grey matter was in overdrive whilst hosting a Rock n Roll Bingo night for ‘The Caravan Show’ in Malvern! Should have known it was going to be one of those nights when the first thing to happen just as we got started was the lights going out so no one could see, followed by complaints that Robbie Williams and Rod Stewart doesn’t constitute the term ‘Rock n Roll’ and then just as you think that nothing else can go wrong, the CD sticks on the B 52’s and Loveshackkkkkkkkkkkkk! Having said all that, the few hundred that turned up (and stayed) seemed to enjoy themselves. The weekend consisted of quite a lot of gardening, catching up with the neighbours and going to see a patch of land that might be available to rent, so fingers crossed.

I managed to catch Strictly on IPlayer at the weekend, what a mixture of characters and isn’t that Nancy woman peculiar?! Anton will be having his patience tested for sure and I’m not being rude, but I reckon she’s doing what my Mum did when she got to the age of 49, she just stayed there!

It’s stopped raining!

Not sure where the last week went, but it involved chatting to a group of Young Farmers and most of them I could have been their mother! We now have 2 pigs, that happened in the week, totally unexpected but we’ve borrowed a couple of Berkshire piglets to clear our patch of woodland. They’re very funny to watch, and it’s amazing what they have achieved already, here’s hoping the electric fence does it’s job as I don’t fancy them getting into the garden now I know what they can do. Great to see Strictly back on the tele, and Anton too. Having danced with him and me not being much taller than Ann Widdecombe, I know exactly what she’ll be thinking whilst holding onto him and that will be ‘my word, he’s very firm.’ Good luck to them, and here’s hoping that newspapers columnists don’t choose to go down the personal route with their comments, never understand why people can be so hateful and mean and it only reflects back on them so why not try writing something nice! Speaking of which, this week should see the kittens starting to play and eat solids so here’s to having eyes in the back of my head.
